Prior to last year, the urgency to prioritize resilience was cautionary and kick-down-the-line-able. And then, as the pandemic unfolded, a sharp competitive distinction was drawn between the resilience haves and the have-nots.
True resilience isn’t just the result of making one decision or one investment and forgetting about it. It requires a sustained effort and a foundational reimagining of an enterprise’s culture and the development tools they use. Such a large undertaking requires leadership straight from the top.
