Shashank Raj, consultant at KPMG & Unqork subject matter expert (SME), shows you how to build application portals for insurance & business ops management using the Unqork no-code platform.
Having worked in the finance domain for three and a half years as a business consultant and configurator, KPMG consultant Shashank Raj has worked on six technology projects using the Unqork platform. In this session for the Unqork Create conference, he discusses why he enjoys the no-code platform and why he recommends it for not just insurance use cases, but for all types of business.
“We have significantly reduced cost, go-to-market time, and the number of people working on the project.”
“The projects that I’ve been completing and I’ve been working on would traditionally require months, maybe years, to complete. For example, I worked for a major insurance client where the entire project should have traditionally taken about six to eight months to build,” says Shashank. “But then using Unqork, we were able to deliver it within three months—including the user acceptance testing. We have significantly reduced cost, go-to-market time, and the number of people working on the project.”
As an Unqork subject matter expert (SME), Shashank highlights two industry-agnostic applications that he built within the platform: a chat application and a ticketing tool for asset management called Ticket Master. The chat application was built in under four hours while the Ticket Master took around four days (with only two configurators). “I had worked on a similar project [to Ticket Master] on asset management, and that was using a full stack development and took us around six months to build,” he elaborates. Yes—from six months to four days.
