This year, Unqork held its first ever Unqork Community Hackathon, because we wanted to showcase the talent and creativity of our members—and the power of codeless to create applications intuitively at lightning speed.
We asked participants to create working software applications in Unqork that could be configured in less than one hour (with some extra time for tweaking and optimization as needed). It was pretty amazing what Creators could do in such a short time! Just watch the video above to see what the four finalists came up with.
It was great to see the way they experimented with Unqork Marketplace assets to help speed their builds, as well as some of the other great new features from Spring 2022 release of the platform, including the popular new Unqork Grid System. It makes development faster and more agile, thanks to a more cohesive configuration experience, support for a wider variety of use cases & UX patterns, and more more extensibility for feature enhancements.
We reviewed all the entries, chose the four finalists, and now we are pleased to announce the winners.
And the winners are….
Pushparaj Ghosarwadkar, Software Engineer Software Engineer at Persistent took first place. He created a simple but elegant messaging app that enables a company to create an in-house application in lieu of commercially available options.
Second place went to Monica Sridaran, Assistant Manager at KPMG Global Services. She created a really creative solution for automating and digitizing HR feedback.
Prem Sai Akash Naidu, Application Development Analyst at Accenture, was honored as a finalist for his digital version of the game Paper Scissors Rock. Shivangi Pathak, Associate Consultant at KPMG Global Services, was also a finalist for her cool book review application.
