Hear Arch Insurance’s Lauren Dieterich and Deloitte’s Kanisha Agarwal on how the insurer strengthened its “transformation muscle” by transforming underwriting with the Unqork platform

Previously, underwriters at Arch had to swivel between 10 tools just to get one quote out the door, according to Dieterich. With Unqork and Deloitte, Arch created a unified experience—a single pane of glass—that seamlessly connects with underlying systems.
Dieterich detailed a wide range of benefits of the new UW experience:
- Faster time-to-market. “Underwriters are getting new features with each sprint, and that’s elevated the excitement,” she explained.
- Rapid adoption. “We have seen tremendous user adoption. Arguably, it’s been one of the fastest uptake curves I’ve seen of an underwriting platform with an underwriting group,” she said.
- Analytics unleashed. “Now, the analytics team can deploy new analytics, new models, and new data sources, which means we are preventing the creation of new standalone tools,” she added.
And underwriting is just the beginning of a larger transformation.
